It compresses down when you are only taking a couple of items but has the capacity to enlarge if you stuff it full of junk. There were plenty of pockets and the top one is lined so it keeps things dry even if it's misty out. The camelbak system as you probably already know is awesome. It is easy to fill and clean. I liked the addition of being able to disconnect the tube at the base which then seals itself off. The strap along your waist is also detachable which you don't need if you're not carrying much. The chest adjustment slides up and down for a better fit too. I really have no complaints about it if you are doing a day hike. It might be too small if you're thinking of hiking on some 3 day trek but Camelbak has plenty of others to suit those needs. Pockets on both sides for drinks also which is helpful if your friend didn't bring anything or you can stuff things in it like rain gear. Enjoy. Would totally get it again. |
